Quicken Support Transcript

So I wanted to delete my online Quicken account and could not figure out how. So I fired up a support chat window and waited 15 long minuets after which Daniel Gill logged in to help. What follows is the transcript from the session. You will notice that as I get more frustrated my already bad spelling takes a tactical nose dive.

Raphael S: I looked at the online help to try to solve my problem but they method suggested did not seem to match up to the website page I was looking at

Raphael S: It says to sign in… which I did
Raphael S: then click settings…. I cannot find any such button on the page

Raphael S: I do no thave a settings button to press
Daniel Gill: Are you trying to do that from iPhone?
Raphael S: I go to www.quicken.com
Raphael S: log in
Raphael S: and there is no settings button

Raphael S: I am on a computer
Daniel Gill: Are you logged in?
Raphael S: my best guess is that the provided instructions is assuming you are logging in from within quicken software and not from a webbrowser

Daniel Gill: Do you see setting button at the top?
Raphael S: Ok…. not to be rude .. but are you even reading what I am typing?
Raphael S: no there is no settings button

Daniel Gill: No you need to login from Internet Explore or web browser
Raphael S: I already said I was logged in from an internet browser

Daniel Gill: When you click on the Sign In in www.quicken.com home page, it will ask you to sign in to your Quicken.com online shopping account.
Daniel Gill: That is not the correct site for Quicken Online.
Daniel Gill: Please open this web page www.quickenonline.com

Daniel Gill: On the top right you will see the Sign In button, please click on it.
Raphael S: both http://www.quicken.com , and http://www.quickenonline.com take you to the SAME WEBPAGE
Raphael S: So i sign in and my only options are Account into, My downloads, Order History, and Auto-Renew
Daniel Gill: The www.quickenonline.com will take you to this URL: http://quicken.intuit.com/online-banking-finances.jsp

Daniel Gill: That page is different from www.quicken.com
Raphael S: no it is not

Raphael S: when I log into both pages
Daniel Gill: When I click on www.quickenonline.com it takes me to a diffenent page for Quicken Online.
Raphael S: assuming they are difdernet
Raphael S: I have the same options I stated before

Raphael S: Basicly I do not have to “SETTINGS” option and I cannot remove my account
Daniel Gill: It will take you the log in page for Quicken Online directly.
